cv axle replacement

I am getting a "clicking" sound from the right side. It varies with speed. I also started to get a very, very minor grinding feeling in the front when I turn right. I believe I need to replace my right side cv axle. Does anyone know the steps to do this? I can get the axel for less than $60 on RockAuto, but want to be sure it is something I can do myself first. If I did pay to get it done, what do you think it would cost?
