I have Rob's address. Should I fly out to Colorado and make this hood magically disappear?

I'm picturing you carrying the hood from his house to a rental car and falling on your face b/c the thin air in Colorado

just like the stock one. 2 bolts on each rear corner. take the front latch off the stock one with 2 more bolts. and then snap on the strut.
you mount it with the hardware a bit loose. then once you get it in place you make sure everything is lined up with some plastic trim sticks or something. then tighten everythign up Deeee uuuuuu nnnnnnnnn done!

How was it shipped? In a braced box? I would just be afraid of it getting crushed in shipping.

the box is a bit scary. the hood is a bit bigger than the box. so one side is kind of deforming the box. but i didnt see any damage.

That would be my only real concern with shipping. I have friends who work for ups and the first thing the drivers teach the new guys is that "no package is fragile". Seriously.
I would be so scared of them cracking it. But thats what shipping insurance is for. lol. I hate UPS. Fedex has never let me down.

It would be a shame to paint that hood fully, maybe a painted stripe or accent and clear.

Its better then standard ground. Did you have to unload it your self like alot of large shipments?
