Re: Debadging consensus..

I would take Jeep of the front, looks much cleaner.

On the back, would actually leave the Jeep and the Hemi.......remove Limited and 4x4

Or remove all but Hemi on the back

Re: Debadging consensus..

Ok this maybe a dumb question but, what holds the badge on?? Is it just tape/glue? Are they any holes on the body left from removing the badges, like if were mounted with a pin or some sort?? LOL I know its a dumb question but I've never debadged before...

Definitely not a dumb question.

The body panel badges are held on with 3M double-sided adhesive tape on all current vehicles.

Cars from the early Eighty's and earlier used thicker badges, usually made of metal and not plastic. They had one, or even two "pins" that went through a hole in the body sheet metal, and were held with a clip on the other side.

Re: Debadging consensus..

I'm not sure what I'd like to take off...or even put on? haha I like all my badges, they're like metals of honor! However, I may take the rear Jeep badge off and replace it with an autobots logo!

I am kinda liking the idea of painting them too...

I may also just have the rear 4x4 and HEMI only n take off the Overland badge. Says it on my seats so I'm ok with that! haha

Anyways, that's my input!

That was my idea a hundred years ago, but the 4x4 badge is just a little lower than the hemi badge so I would have to take it off and move it up about a half inch so it'd be even with the emblem (hemi) on the right side of the tailgate. Just been a little lazy...

Damn really?! Eff it then, Im too lazy and too much of a perfectionist to do so! Looks like ill just toss that extra trail rated badge on the right side to even her out, go romping and call it a day!

For all you "street jeep peeps," romping is going "off roading" and gettin diiiirty! haha

Great thanks! So to remove them you just pull? Or is there a technic to it?

Re: Debadging consensus..

Only thing left is the trail rated badge and I moved it to the rear hatch. The back used to look like something out of wordpad
