A little more involved than that, there are several technic's.

What I do is:

-Start with a heat gun (a hairdryer will do fine as well). Heat up the emblem all across. What your doing is loosening up the tape to make it come off easier.

-Use a good thick piece of Dental Floss string and start on one side and work across under the badge to the other side.

-If there is any residue left on the panel, you can use either WD-40 or Goo Gone to clean it off.

-Use a good Wax Cleaner where the badge was, and then finish off with a top coat of Wax.

Re: Debadging consensus..

I've thought about taking all of my badges off, but if I ever decided to trade I'd hate to run across picky ass dealers. All I can say is to put badges back on is expensive as hell. It's like $40 for the damn overland circle badge!

Well come to think of it, it would be so much easier to clean my Jeep without trying to coon finger in the little loops of the e's and p's on the front and back with a rag.

Yea I think I'm gonna take all badges off minus the front Jeep logo and the trail rated badge. Def has too much back there w Overland, 4x4, n hemi. Less is more. Plus it'll look more balanced. I am going to add my autobots logo on my 4xguard brush guard and one where the rear Jeep logo is!

SportRanger06 is just really nice
Re: Debadging consensus..

I'm thinking of taking off the "Jeep" logo on the hood, and the "Laredo" on the tail gate, but leaving the "Jeep" and "4x4".

Thumbs down Dealership stickers

The dealership I got mine from felt that the license frame bosting their name/address/phone number wasn't enough free advertising for them, and added a sticker as well.

The heatgun & patience took care of that issue.

That was part of the deal before I bought the car. No dealer advertising of any kind unless they wished to pay me. My fee was the sticker price of the vehicle.

Drove away with what I wanted.

Re: Debadging consensus..

I took everything off except the "5.7L" and little "HEMI" under it. That way, God forbid (), no one mistakes it for a 4.7 version
Tehe
Plus I think they're a little bland if everything is off. Of course, its all down to personal taste

And yes, dealer plate frames are the first thing to go on any vehicle.
