Re: Driving Lights Behine Grill

I understand the purpose of i mean they are driving lights, say your on a trail with a somewhat tight turn at night and you need to see where its goin a lil bit just turn the wheel and the "driving lights" turn that way instead of turnin the while vehicle that way takin away the need to pull up n look n if you dont wanna go backin up and all that mess. I'm a voulenteer firefighter, I have led lights mounted on my dash, there is someone else in our department with a light bar on the roof, but I don't know anyone with them behind the grill.

i just ordered a roof rack, but it sits kinda far back and id rather them be in the front! from what i read you get more light if mounted on the front of car verse a roof rack

i want them to turn on when i put my hi beams on.. just dont know how to wire it all

If they were in the grille, you could just splice in the wires from the grille lights to the high beam wires. Pos-pos, neg-neg.. They would share the same signal when the highs are activated. Relay harness may be needed to send correct power.

Re: Driving Lights Behine Grill

I actually started this project with some Hella Black Magic's about a month ago. And kept getting pissed off with drilling holes in the top of the grille panel so I have "suspended" it until someone has success....and can give me a write-up.

Hey Frankie, if you need a hand let me know. I'm only 25 exits north of you. Take a ride up on a Sat and we'll bang 'em out.
