E rated or C rated?

Should I go with an E rated tire or C rated?
I know the C rated are lighter and have lower load pressures but is there any advantages of one over the other? And C rated are cheaper

Re: E rated or C rated?

C-loads are 6-play & E-loads are 10-ply. The E-loads are supposed to wear a lot longer, especially on a WK. My BFG All-Terrians are about 8 lbs heavier than the C-loads, and the ride is not as smooth as C-loads. I'm sure the extra weight has a small affect on mileage, but that all went out the window with the lift as well. The tire shop accidentally installed the E-loads on mine, but I figure since they run $28 more per tire that I would just keep them. No regrets!

Re: E rated or C rated?

I went with C because they are lighter and might effect gas milage less.

Re: E rated or C rated?

Yeah I was leaning toward the C rated because they are 6-10 pounds lighter than E rated. With the V6 i dont want to have to pull a heavy tire. But if the E rated is gonna give me more miles maybe its worth it
