Exhaust Insulators?

The magnaflow catback is shaking a little too much on my 2009 Grand cherokee 3.7L V6. The exhaust insulators are plastic! I need polyurethane ones but cant seem to find any. Does anyone know where i can find them? Is there a part number?

Re: Exhaust Insulators?

Just go to any auto parts store and match up what you have with what they have. Those will be rubber. Theres no such thing as urethane exhaust hangers. That would transmit all the vibration to the chassis.

Re: Exhaust Insulators?

polyurethane bushings are good for suspension, but poly mounts on an exhaust will transmit every little vibration to the car because they are so hard. You need to look for rubber mounts. It sounds to me that there is something wrong with the way your system is setup, I have a magnaflow catback as well on my V6 and I have no shaking or rattles.
