fog lamp upgrade

last question before i go off to bed...

i need to upgrade my fog lamps. these things that came on my jeep couldnt help a hamster find its way out of a gay guys...well you get the idea. they are pathetic.

i want some rugged bright lights to fit where my factory fogs are now. im in it for the ruggedness, so all you srt guys think more in terms of dirt path instead of drag strip. here are my choices:

-kc hilites 50 series (#489 on their website)
-piaa 510smr (pn5190)
-hid upgrade

while the hid upgrade sounds tempting, since its only $135, i still dont know. ive never heard of these hid conversion companies, but piaa & kc have proven their worth.

ok time to put aqua teen hunger force on my itunes playlist and go to bed. i gotta build shit tomorrow. good night all.

Re: fog lamp upgrade

Well if you just want to change the Bulb and go with an HID Bulb we have 2 vendors here who are Xenon Depot and Xentec. I have bought from Xentec (Tony) who has great customer service. Xenon Depot from what I see and hear is a very very good vendor too!

Re: fog lamp upgrade

actually today i went and bought some piaa 510 atp lamps that i plan on mounting on my bumper in between a set of hella 700's or some other 7" lamp (so on my bumper it would be 7" 5" 5" 7" lamp size pattern) and im so impressed with them i wanna get the fog light version that will fit perfectly in the stock location.
