Check out Strongjeff's build thread: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread
I am sure they make a big difference, as do the custom ones I had buiilt for my WK Hemi. The exhaust systems on all the WK's (except the SRT's) are very restrictive, especially the exhaust manifolds.

Update.... I picked up the jeep and it is quite the knock. Sounds the the wrist pin is gone on one of the pistons. The jeep itself is in really good shape so I am having a hard time just parting it out.

So now I am searching for a wrecked one with a good running motor or going to buy an engine for it. Thought about doing a full rebuild but I am having spine surgury in a month and would like to have it running before then.

So here is my newest curiosity. I've done plenty of clutches and simple mechanic work. Does anyone have any advice for me before I start tearing into this motor. Tips or tricks. What to look for. Also what motors will fit from the liberty's and Dakotas... All help is greatly appreciated!

Update! I found a local mechanic who fully rebuilds these jeep motors top to bottom for the price of what I was finding used motors with 100k were selling for! Will be getting the jeep back this coming week!
