Re: Front brake job questions.
So I bled the back brakes. I started to round off the screw on the front brake and stopped there until I can get a replacement screw. I just used some Pennzoil SAE 3 stuff, figuring it shouldn't make much difference. But I'll pick up some mopar brake fluid too when I get the replacement bleeder screw.
I did notice some tiny air bubbles and a couple larger ones come through the line. The brake pedal seems firmer and more responsive, even only having done the backs.
If anyone is interested, it's pretty straight forward. I picked up some aquarium tubing from the pet store drilled a hole in the lid of a jar to run the tubing through (like most of the how-tos on the net). Put some brake fluid in the bottom of the jar and away we went.
The old fluid had the nast.
