Front end questions

My friend has an 06 i think it is.

he has some 20's and some Nittos but the rims were from a ZJ so he needed spacers to get the right lug set up.

now when he brakes the truck shakes alot from the front end. i drove it the other day and to me it felt like bent rotors.

its also not as smooth as it could be during regular driving

is there some way to tighten up the front end? like a steering stabilizer would for a solid axle vehicle?

does he possibly need an alignment?

any thoughts?

Re: Front end questions

X2 on hubcentric spacers; Also needs to make sure the offest of the rims is correct, or wheel bearings will wear out. Going to a 20" rim from 16, or 17's, the ride quality will not be a smooth, plus the added unsprung weight of those heavy wheels will have negative effects on accelleration, braking.

Excuse me, but It seems to old fairy tale I know many peoples which use wheel spacers and zero (and negative) offset rims. And I was discussed this issue with service guys before installing of wheelspacers on my WK. Wheel bearings mileage life with zero-offset rims or wheelspacers installed are shorter at 500 miles or about.
