Re: Front spoiler removed

For anyone who removes your front spoiler; Paint your radiator support! Unless you have a black, dark blue, brown WK.

I painted mine and it blends in soo much better, looks like the air dam was never there.

Re: Front spoiler removed

Considering my first Jeep had a piece of 1/2" steel 2"x6" channel welded to the frame as a front bumper, I guess "finished" is in the eye of the beholder.

If I want to look good while driving I take the Mustang GT. When I want to know I will get where I am going regardless of conditions, I take a Jeep.

Re: Front spoiler removed

I had taken mine off so i dont break it and i could not stand how bad it looks w/o it on there w/o a lift kit and accessories tha ti put it back on. I did eventually break off the end tab on the pass side but i will just get a new one for summer use and keep this one for winter use.

Re: Front spoiler removed

Yeah I remove mine when heading to the beach, but it goes STRAIGHT back on when I'm home.

jeepnjeep is just really nice
Re: Front spoiler removed

I trimmed mine up to the moulded line just about 1/2 way. It just covers the support but gives a little more clearance. Here's a before and after pic:

Re: Front spoiler removed

I didn't think to take a side view of my 2008 and I can't decide if I like the front better with our without the air dam.

Re: Front spoiler removed

08's and up WK's IMO look horrible with out the front valence. 05-07 grands can pull it off no problem.
