Have any of you gone from a standard front WK bar (33mm) to a SRT8 bar? Did you notice much of an improvement?

Has anyone gone from a front SRT8 bar to an Addco bar?

On my old WK I had a bad experience with the front Addco bar so I was planning on just getting the SRT8 bar, IF there's a noticeable improvement in handling.

I definitely want the rear Addco but is the performance gain of the front Addco over the SRT8 worth the cost and fitment issues?

I have the front SRT bar....I noticed crisper turns, less roll on the front. The front end also stays level on hard cornering compared to the hollow stock bar.

I had an addco...was one of the first...and I had the same fitament problems the first few folks had. I sent it back and got the SRT bar. I think the fitaent problems have been fixed. I know some of thee SRT guys have went to the addco becasue its a larger diameter. Robpp on JG has as well.

I did the Front/Rear SRT8 sways and Bwoody sway links and noticed a huge improvement in "tightness" in corners...it seems more sure-footed. Hard to tell what improved it more as I did them at the same time...Once I get wheels and better tires I will be all set

yeah I got one of the first front Addcos as well. The angles were way off and I had to send detailed pictures to Addco, showing them what needed to be changed. I bought it from Kolak but he wouldn't let me return it so I'm never dealing with him again.

I ended up getting a revised bar directly from Addco, which did fit better, but not perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the bolt-on centering collars either.

Since the SRT8 bar seems like a worthwhile upgrade, I think I'll go with it so I know it'll be a perfect fit. And just to be certain, the SRT8 front bar is the same as the Commander bar, right? That's what the part number on JustForJeeps shows.

i cant tell you its the same as the commander but it fits perfeectly.

they may have upgraded it. i remember a post where j4j made someone buy new mounts. you def need new rubbers too.

maybe to be sure you should call this one in. those guys know there stuff.

Don't waste your money on the Addco. The size difference isn't worth the extra cost. I do recommend the Bwoody sway links though. I run road courses and don't see this as being a smart upgrade. Here is a video at the track.

No it can't. Yes it is. Another reason driving a Jeep on a road course is so fun.
