Fuel Gauge

I have had a problem with my WK's fuel gauge whenever there is a heavy rain for sometime now. The gauge will oscillate from empty to full then usually once it's dry out it will eventually work fine.

I think it may have something to do with driving through puddles and grounding issues. Has anyone else had this problem and any known repairs?

It's a 05 Limited 4.7 Liter

Thanks in advance

S9k

Re: Fuel Gauge

the grounding of the whereover the fuel signal is much be flaky.

one option is to spray water around the fuel system at the car wash until the problem occurs again, or trace the wiring for the fuel sending unit and figure out where its supposed to ground.
