Gas/LPG

My WK 2007/3.7L is running on gas/LPG (62000km now).
During last time it shows Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0300 and P0305.
I changed a Coil on cylinder no. 5 as well as all 6 spark plugs, but the
light of engine malfunction with the same codes is on again.
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
I am a freshmen with 1st post on this pages and shall welcome any help.

Re: Gas/LPG

Do you feel that it is misfiring, or you only see the codes?
A misfire can occur due to no spark, but also due to a not good mixture in a cylinder. If it runs rough, then it is really misfiring. You could have a sticking valve or a rocker which has fallen of. Sticking valves can happen due to carbon buildup on the valve stems. Try a seafoam treadment through the brake booster vacuum line. If that doesnŽt help, then i would remove the cylinder head cover and check if the rockers are in place.
Did your engine overheat in the past?

Re: Gas/LPG

No, I do not feel anything wrong or overheating of an engine. Just the codes lights on.

Re: Gas/LPG

On the WJ it can be caused by a TPS which is going bad. Then there is no real misfire, but an electrical noise caused by the TPS is interpreted by the PCM as a misfire. Maybe that this can happen on the WK 3.7 as well.
