Gas mileage on the '07 6 cylinder

What type of gas mileage are owners of the 2007 Grand Cherokee with a 6 cylinder seeing. I was just looking online and I saw one listed and in the details it said "10 city and 14 highway". I think that MUST be a mistake.

Thanks

I think the mileage estimate you found is a mistake, unless the jeep is a V8, the V6 should get 15mpg city and 20mpg highway, that's what the window sticker said on my 09 V6 4x4 which is no different than an 07 V6..

I get a little better than that in my HEMI. I get 10-11 in town and 13-15 on the Highway. So I doubt those numbers are correct.

gas mileage varies on our 3.7s... depends on how spirited you wanna drive. my lowest has been 4.3 and highest has been 22.4

Re: Gas mileage on the '07 6 cylinder

Wow thats way low. I average 18 city and hit 22 on the 87 mile drive from here to Salt Lake city. Which isnt bad i think. Lowest i ever had was 13 but oil change seemed to fix it rite up.

Re: Gas mileage on the '07 6 cylinder

I do mixed 50/50 city and highway ... I get 14.0 when I pretend I own a SRT and get about 19-20 when I realize it's only a 3.7L LOL

what kills it the most is the slow creep driving that I have to do when I enter my county

Re: Gas mileage on the '07 6 cylinder

I do a lot of city/highway driving and average around 17-18 mpg unless I'm driving like I stole it then it's more like 8-10 mpg in my '09 6cyl.

Re: Gas mileage on the '07 6 cylinder

I would say real life 13 city and maybe 17 highway. For my 4.7 I get 10.5 city and 14-15 highway and I know the "official rating" was much higher than that.
