Bringing this over..........I know some of have not seen this and we need a few more. Steve also said he'll do up to 15 for the 149 price.

THIS GB IS A GO.

I talked to Steve, the owner of FlashTech and we are going to get this GB going. I have an open set of lights packed up and will send to them today. He estimates 3-4 weeks tops and he will be ready to ship these kits.

We need to have colors picked out. Here is a link to whats available. PURPLE IS 10 dollars extra. http://headlightsupercenter.com/osc/index.php?cPath=4

The price for the first 15 is 149 PLUS FREE SHIPPING.

$75.00 deposit is required to hold your spot! All Payments can be sent via paypal to FLASHPRODUCTS@GMAIL.COM

Make sure to include all information on your purchase:
  • VEHICLE type
  • your SJ screename
  • a phone number to contact if need be
  • COLOR CHOICE

I need to know when you send the deposit in. I will update the list.

I will send PM to all on the list. The price with free shipping is only available to the first 15 that secure a spot. The 8 on the list have fisrt dibs, I will give them about 2 weeks to get their deposits in to hold their spot.

Some of you asked if the will do the install for you: They do have that service but it can be costly as our lights can be a ton of work to get apart. Once they have our LEDs designed and built they will consider some type of install or exchange service. They need to practice on a set before any pricing can be done.

If you want to see pictures of others with these LEDs: http://www.lxforums.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=324

FINAL LIST: DEPOSIT PAID

Hi Guys,

I have made contact with a vendor on LX that sells LED halos and wants to make some for the WK. You know I have my lights apart now so I can send mine to them for the design. Say they need 3-4 weeks. The other Halo vendor that everyone knows blew me off as I guess they have lots of the Jeep size CCFLs in stock. But on LXforums they have group buys for LED halos. go figure.

http://headlightsupercenter.com/osc/index.php?cPath=4

I also understand that the OEM HIDs are a diff size and the halos need to be different. I am trying to confirm this but for now, if you have HID OEM housings, you may want to wait on the sidelines.

Anyway, here is the deal:

I sent an query to Flashtec products over on LX. they also go by headlightsupercenter.com

I got a reply from Steve. Here is what he says:

10 people I can do them for 149 + shipping!
for any color but purple; for purple add alot more lol we will have to see

Steve

I think we all know the differences between LED and CCFL.
  • no ac inverters needed. these can burn up after a while.
  • LED gives no heat, lasts forever.

SO.......

anyone interested?

It is too bad this came up NOW :( I am deploying in a month. Like you said though, the headlights are a PITA to get apart (I would know, lol - working on my third set now). Maybe when I get back. Make sure to post pics guys!! :D

Guys, I emailed Steve from Flashtech yesterday. I said we are getting anxious and its been a while.....

his response:

we have changed the design of the circuit board. they are now going to have voltage regulators built into them that wil lsolve alow of issues with led's potentially going out.

no other vendor has this yet and istead of making an inferior product we deided to spend more money and have all the item items converted to this design. The new design was jsut completed and all new products are being built right now.

He says 2 more weeks. He has redesigned his whole line to include some kind of voltage regulator. he moved the business. some other stuff. there is a huge thread on LX Forums. let me know I'll go get it.

I have headlights all over the place. I need these done!

guys, according to Steve from Flashtec we are very close. The latest issue is around voltage and heat. So we will get our halo's with fully adjustble voltage regualtors.

Here is my latest note from Steve:

Rob,

I know the guys are getting anxious. So am I! The regulators are great xxxxxxx on the lxforums is building us an amazing unit that is fully adjustable.

the rings are going to be the bullit style rings where they can run them in many variations.

They have been ordered and are currently in production.

Besides that I do not have much else unfortuantly. reassure the guys that I did not rush these out as Iwanted to make sure the quality was there. Which is true.

Let me know. If I need to write up more for the guys I will.

Steve
