Going to buy my first Jeep...Decent deal? What to look for?

I think I am going to buy the wife a Jeep tomorrow and just want to get the thoughts of some experts on here. I know nothing about Jeeps so what should I look for? Does this seem like a decent deal?

Its a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7 with 47,000 miles. It's in like new condition inside and out. I think it has every option except for 4wd which is not a huge concern of ours. The tires are the original but already have 4 brand new Firestone Destination ATs for it ready to be put on. Looks like $16,500 is the lowest he will go. Does this sound about right or should I hold out a little longer. Anything to watch out for mechanical wise?

Stupid question...was the Overland even available in 2wd? I thought all Overlands were 4x4's. Have you run the VIN#? There's a VIN# decoder someone posted up on here a few days ago that would tell you all the info the build sheet would.
