Re: Goodyear Eagle GTII vs Nitto 420S

I know scottina06 and moettler21 are running the 420's and they love them...hopefully they chime in for better feedback! Are you going staggered or same all the way around?

Re: Goodyear Eagle GTII vs Nitto 420S

I had a set of Goodyear Eagle GTII's and they were the worst tire I've ever owned!!

So... 420's for sure! Lol

Re: Goodyear Eagle GTII vs Nitto 420S

^^ X2 HAHA I wanted to be gentle and just priase the nittos but the GY GTII's are CRAP! I bought a set of 20's for my old Dakota and those tires came with them...they were horrible. Problem was, I had no idea they were bad untill I needed new tires...once I switched I realized how bad they were.

Re: Goodyear Eagle GTII vs Nitto 420S

I have never had a good set of Goodyears - my grandfather retired from them many years ago and I tried many different styles (bc I got a discount), but I regretted it every time.

I just had a set of 20" Viper reps put on, 20X9 up front and 20X10 on the rear, running a set of Toyo Proxes STIIs. I have a set of these on my X5, staggered 20X9.5 and 20X10.5 and absolutley love this tire. I actually had three sets of Proxes STs on the X5 and also liked them, except for the road noise after about 15K miles. Supposedly that is what they have fixed with the STIIs. I get about 35 - 40K miles out of the Toyos and the traction on them is awesome, wet and dry.
