Re: Got it!

Nice, I'm just using the quick tune 93. I tried messing around with the shift points, but i couldn't figure out what setting was best. So, i just use their settings.

Re: Got it!

Yeah im not sure yet. I am using the 87 tune since i have a tank of 87 in there now. However, would using that 91 or 93 really make a big difference? The best 0-60 run i got on this is 9.1 sec. Kinda disappointing but i'm not sad cause i like the way the jeep pulls through the gears with the superchips. I was just hoping for more of a improvement that you had, but im not sure what else i can do. Cause i mean i can use the 93 tune but i use 87 gas.

Re: Got it!

The tunes just advance the timing and to compliment it you need to run the higher octane tunes. You can put 93 in a 87 tune but only 93 in a 93 tune.

Congrats!

Re: Got it!

Since when did the superchips have a 93 tune?!?! Does it do 93 for the 4.7?

Re: Got it!

Thanks again frank, working out well so far. The options i have is 87, 91 and 93, for the 4.7L. Next time i fill the tank up, ill get a higher grade. Hopefully i can get a better then a 9.1 0-60 run, lol.

Re: Got it!

Yea, i dont know what the deal with it is. I feel a difference when i drive it, but according to the 0-60 timer seems as if its not the case. Ill probably be out late tonight, and i live off of a state route that is a just a straight away. After 130am there is nobody on it and the county sheriffs "patrol it", which means there are no speed traps cause they dont bother. Im going to try some more runs tonight. By the way, i just pop the sucker into drive and step on it (thats how i drive her). I hadn't tried to disable any of the safety features but it isnt a hemi so i cant see the computer limiting my accelleration on launch.

Re: Got it!

Damn, you got 93 octane tune on yours? Mine only has 91 as the highest, maybe i need to update it. The higher octane tune will DEFINETLY make a difference compared to the 87 tune. I did have a couple high 8 low 9 0-60 runs for a while with the 87 tune. I noticed a larger improvement 0-60 with my cai, than i did with my superchips, fwiw.

Re: Got it!

Lol i thought it said 93? I went to make sure and i must have been seeing things. However, i think the 93 that i saw was in the users manual (im border line retarded but it was somewhere just not on the programmer, lol). Anyways what are some other preset tunes that people have used?
