Question for you, when you start the engine, from the inside of your jeep, does it sound like your "hemi cover" is loose??

When I installed my airaid, I ended up getting a wierd knocking noise after and I cant seem to locate if anything is rattling or rubbing
That is kind of weird, I've got the Airraid as well and I don't get that noise, those covers can be a bitch to put on sometimes, make sure its on all 3 pegs!

Man I gotta clean my engine bay badly! Looks great! I love the way it sounds when the engine is idling. You can hear is sucking air. LOL.

Well when I installed my intake I also painted and installed my strut bar, so I must have moved some stuff around. Anyhoo the dipstick that is back there was moving at idle and was rubbing up against the hose that is ziptied to the strut bar

I think I'm going to be going with a Magnaflow muffler as well bro.

Are you going to go with a catback or just a muffler

Re: Got my Airaid CAI...

Going to get a muffler (magnaflow or Flowmaster), and I'll see how bad my pipes are. If they are bad I'll replace the piping to 3" all the way to the cat. I don't want a catback system since Ill probably delete the reso and change the tip

Probably throw on a single tip.

Re: Got my Airaid CAI...

yeah kyle you gotta do an exhaust...do your research depending on the sound you want...MF loud, in-between or mellow

I had the airaid and loved it...I have a BWoody now and love that too, but the airaid def fit better
