Grand Cherokee Stalling
Okay so I have a 2000 grand Cherokee limited with a 4.0 engine in it. I bought it from someone who hadn't changed the oil in two years so I knew there was definitely going to be some fixing to do. I bought a whole new motor and put it in, but when it warms up to 210 and even a little while after it initially gets to 210, it starts misfiring. I managed to get it to an auto zone nearby to test it and it came up with a sixth cylinder misfire. I've got new gas, put gas cleaner in it, checked fuel pressure, got new spark plugs, pcm, I've changed my throttle position sensorposition and idle air control valve, checked the catylic converter, changed the coul pack and I completely redid the head and my engine looked great while I had everything apart. And it is STILL misfiring. When I accelerate it runs perfect. But when I'm in idle it is everything in the Jeep to not shut itself off. I'm at a dead end here, and I'm running out of options. Has anyone else expierenced this problem? How did you fix it?
