I have already installed 8K HIDs on my HEADS and FOGS..
And I plan to get some HALOs on it, but would the brightness of the HALOs be weakened by the HID's power consumption?
the flashtech LED halos come with a regulator, which draws power from the battery, and you have to wire a switch, so ya i guess its a relay, and im sure they have a low amperage
ya i know, i just figured with the green ones, if i get pulled over, i could turn them off just incase, like friday i got pulled over, and i even had a headlight that was out, but i love local cops, i was going 11 over, and since i was polite, he let me go LOL knock on wood right!
i would take a guess and say that CCFL halos draw a higher amperage than the LEDs because the CCFL halos require a power inverter, as it takes 110v to power them, not 12, if im not mistaken
Be cool if you could use a h/o/a (hand off auto) switch, so you could use as DRL's, but have the ability to cut the power if you had colored...I wouldn't mind a white with slight bluish tint and just have them on all the time, unless I choose not to.
