Has anyone painted the Grand Cherokee lettering on the doors?
I was thinking of filling the letters in on mine with a dark gray to make the lettering show up a little more.
If anyone has done this, post up some pictures!

I am doing my rockers, fascia, and rub strips soon.
I thought about body matching the black rub but finding a way to repaint/leave the "Grand Cherokee" in black so it pops real nice...
I haven't seen it done anywhere.

steady hands and a model brush.. I would color match the whole piece then fill in the GC lettering then clear coat everything and you're done!

I like the idea of painting the trim to match and not filling in the grand cherokee. I just think it looks to plain being nothing there..

I've seen this done on a Red Jeep SRT8 in fact. Looked good.

I did it with a paint marker. Wore off one side, and the other side was never redone when the truck was hit and the moldings replaced last year.

I'm thinking of doing this too. I'll leave the moulding black and paint the letters Inferno to match the body.

Yeah let me know how it goes.
My other idea was to remove the badges and paint them black and move it to right behind the front wheel well.
But the painted rubs with the black "Grand cherokee" is first. ;-]

i couldn't find the picture of the "Grand Cherokee" painted in the moldings. it was on another forum a few years ago. if i remember correctly, the owner used caliper paint. it turned out great. he had a lot of members asking where he bought them at and that they wanted some.

Check out what I just stumbled across...
Kinda hard to see... but you get the idea.
