Well this was offically the first time I utilized the Jeep for hauling...got 700 pounds of cement/spec mix, 7 cinder blocks and a complete irrigation/drip system in the back without any issues...I also got a sneak-peak at what the Jeep would look like lowered in the rear
Does anyone know the max load the floor/jeep can handle over the rear axle inside the cabin?
I've never seen the spec for rear capacity itself but without much in the center, 700 lbs. might be pushing the limit. Total load capacity w/passenger is in the 1000-1100 range.
A couple years ago when a similar "loaded" topic came up on one of the forums, a dude who owns a nursery emailed me a pic and said that he regularly hauls bagged shrubs that can easily add up to over over 1,000 lbs on a good day. He also mentioned that the Jeep took a pretty good hit on gas mileage and was sluggish on high hills.

I passed you driving in Santa Barbara, but I wasn't in my Jeep. Your Jeep sounds nice. I need to get a sticker like yours to REP JeepGarage. Do you have an extra one? I like that size.. and it matches the white...
