Headliner Cleaner

So I was transporting some tires in the back of the WK and now have tire marks on the headliner. What do you guys recommend to clean it with and how to go about doing it, i.e. any special technique involved?

Re: Headliner Cleaner

Folex, sold at lowes and home depot. It's an old school carpet cleaner.

Did any of these work? I have to do the same and don't want to discolor or stain the stock color.

Re: Headliner Cleaner

ooh (test) the target UP brand foaming carpet cleaner. i say this because I've used it on my nike sneakers, the jeep's carpet, my house's carpet AND the jeep seat fabric between the leather without issue and it is AMAZING at separating stains from the fabric.

Re: Headliner Cleaner

At work my FAVORITE cleaner that I go over EVERY interior job with (followed by something citrusy to knock out some of the odor associated with it) is Mopar "multi purpose cleaner". It is a dry cleaning agent and it is AMAZING what it does. I have yet to come across another cleaner at work that is even close to as good or quick... it is strong smelling stuff, thats a given, but it works awesome!
