This kit is also known as a bump steer correction kit. It compensates for the bump steer effect resulting from lifting your Jeep. If your Jeep is lifted, you may want to give this kit a try.

Re: Heim Joint, Adjustable Outer Tie Rod Ends

How does it get rid of bumpsteer?

Rod ends aren't legal for street use.

Also, it's missing castle nuts.

Joint sits 2" above spindle restoring steering angles to normal range.

They are in many places Worldwide.

We use lock nuts and then add cotter pins.

Re: Heim Joint, Adjustable Outer Tie Rod Ends

I'm not sure how this improves the Jeep.

And you must have missed my other questions.

Not sure what good the cotter pin does six threads away from the nut...

Re: Heim Joint, Adjustable Outer Tie Rod Ends

- look at our replies please. All questions answered.
- Our cotter pins are not 6 threads under the lock nut as stated. They are directly under it. The lock nut, just by itself, is more than sufficient and this is what your original Mopar tie rod ends have. We added the cotter pins for an extra measure of safety.
- Heim joint based tie rods are legal in many places worldwide.
Thanks for your interest in JeePerf.

No lock nuts, and see the note about the cotter pin hole.
