Help fast brake lights not working

I haave an 06 grand cherokee I installed a trailer hitch wire harness everything worked today my mom is driving it and no brake lights she didn't have time to trouble shoot much but she did remove the harness still no joy I think its a fuse but I'm not there just looking for other ideas just incase it isn't the fuse

there are 3 10 amp fuses in the PDC under the hood they go from the front of the car to the back (the rest of them go from side to side of the vehicle). They are close towards the drivers side of the box...

check them, that or you may just have blown tail lamp bulbs, seen it before.
