Connect the new battery and get the jeep going. With the jeep running, take off the neg. cable and if the jeep stays running your alternator is just fine. If it dies soon, your alt. is going and going to kill all batteries you put in, lol..

Re: HELP jeep wont start

i went to sams club for a battery and the newest one they had was made in 08 lol. so i went to pep boys and they were $180. next i went to walmart and got one for $75. i installed it and she fired right up! tested the alternation and it was fine. it was just an old battery that did not like the cold lol. thanks for all of the help guys! like jeepski09 said, this place is awesome!

That's great to know you got it working same thing happened to me a while back of course there was JG back then so was kinda stuck for a week without a car and my mechanic friend said to check the battery loool

no joke hah ^^ instead of going to the dealer everyone should come on here first and ask around youll get to the answer alot faster that way and much cheaper..
