I replaced it with the Mopar crank sensor. $43 from the dealer.
First of all, I'd like to say I don't think my WK as idled better than what it is right now. I'm sitting in here with the AC blasting and it has yet to drop below 500rpm (it's holding steady around 550rpm).
It was simple to replace. I didn't have to remove anything to get to it. All I did was updated my socket set by purchasing a Kolbalt kit from Lowes. The bolt that was holding it in place was 1/2".
I hope I reset the PCM right.
•Disconnected "-" terminal
•Turn ignition [ON] for about 2 minutes
It seems to be ok for now. If I continue to have problems, I'll replace the cam sensor which is cheaper than the crank sensor.
Oh yeah.....dealer that I don't usually go to, I go to another dealer that is about 25 minutes away, want to charge me $300 to replace the crank sensor. Lol.
