HELP! OME install issue

Im sitting in my garage installing my ome kit. I've been banging down on the fork to get the strut out, it came out a bit but doesn't seem to want to come out any further. Any tips on how to get this strut out before I mutilate the fork? Tia!

Here's a video of where I'm stuck.

Haven't done a suspension install on a independent front end before but it looks as though your downward movement is being limited by the axle shaft contacting lower control arm.

Can you not compress the strut by hand from the bottom to lift it out of the fork?

Oil pen fluid, soak it and then use a plastic dead blow.

Re: HELP! OME install issue

you can also unbolt the strut fork from the lower control arm. its way easier especial if your not replacing the strut
