HELP stranded no start comeputer issue?

I'm headed north for The weekend and stopped for snacks. My sister put a cd in the navigation slot and it got stuck so stupidly I went in there with the paperclip to get it out. After several minutes I gave up and went to turn the key. I heard a cough and the car went dead. Now I just hear a click when intry to turn it ovEr. Could this be related at all to th cd in te nav?
Help!

Thanks

Re: HELP stranded no start comeputer issue?

guessing that it does NOT have anything to do with the nav......

but one simple thing to try is to reset the car computer.

you do that by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery (10mm wrench).
then you step on the brake for 30 seconds.
then you reconnect the negative terminal.

try that.

That sounds like an entry for the "Liittle Tricks/Hidden Features " thread.
