Help with tire sizes

my first post ...any ways i justbought the srt8 rims.. 20 x 9s front and rear.. and i cannot decided what tires i want to get.. i have read forum after forum but nothing really helps.. idk what section width to go with but i do know i want a 40 aspect ratio.. any help willl be greattttt

well srt8 come from the factory with 20x9 on the front with a 255/45 20 tire. rear 285/40 20 but 10 inch rim.

i would suggest 255/45 all around. not a 40.

i wanted a bit more sidewall on my wk and did 255/50 20 but most dont like that look.

well i was looking for something a lower profile.. but i guess im sticking with the stock size.. you said you have the yoko paradas right?

IMHO I recommend not going below 40 and playing it safe because with the weight of the our jeeps and having those kind of reps you wanna have some sidewall for ride comfort and not ride on rubber bands and worry bout jacking up ur nice rims every time u go over a bump or hit a pothole

yeah i have the parada spec x in 255/50 20. I like them. I havent tried them in snow but feel good in the rain.

i got them for about 500 from eBay. I used Bing cashback to get an extra 8% plus DiscountTire posts sales on eBay like monthly where they give like 5 % off.
plus no sales tax. then paid the local guy i trust 40 to mount and balance them up.
