I know, i know. I'm all the time aggravating u guys with dumb questions. But where can i get my tails done guys. Started to order the stuff to do it myself but i've never tinted/vinyled so i'd probably screw it up. I seen that that daniel guy who done alot of you guys' quit doin it so i don't know.
This is how i did mine and they came out fine. Just make sure they are cleaned well. I went over mine with windex and than again with just a microfiber towel before I sprayed them.
i might use that method...thanks paul, i currently have the rvinyl kit, and it looks like complete crap...it wasnt the right size! thanks for that link Paul!
ya its cheaper thru their ebay store BTW, but it was a PITA, plus i had to heat and stretch, which made it look like crap, and it doesnt sit right, ill take pics for u
there ya go, crappy pics, but u can see the wrinkles, because it didnt fit right, so i had to heat and stretch, and you can see how it doesnt line up right...the tint looks alright from far away, but my weekend project is gonna be to retint the tails
I tried a lamin-x pre-cut recently. I would not recommend it, the quality seems fine but it was very difficult to work with and stretch. The pre-cut kit was more of a hassle than anything, maybe buying a small roll would have been smarter, but I blame that on them. You can see some small air bubbles that surprisingly disappeared on their own as lamin-x claimed they would.
