HID Auto Level Fail

Hello!

I have an '08 WK Overland with the OEM HID headlights and last night I noticed that they were pointed wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy down in front of the vehicle. To the point where my fog lights were going farther. I pulled over, shut the Jeep off and then restarted it. The headlights did their normal up and down motion and seemed to level out to their normal height.

This morning I started up and she was pointing way low again! Does anyone have any idea why this is happening all of a sudden? Any trouble shooting advice would be amazing. Of course this happens right when my CPO Warranty expired.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Re: HID Auto Level Fail

another thread at another jeep site, not sure this site will allow me to post a link.

it seems recalibration is the best fix, but I don't think you can do it yourself.
