HID headlights pointing at the ground

The dealer reflashed the ECU and the headlights, but still having intermittent issues with my HIDs not coming up to level (pointing at the ground). Is this a common issue? Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: HID headlights pointing at the ground

I had this issue as well. The dealership has to recalibrate the whole truck. Mine did it after I replaced the front windsheild. Its a long process as they have to do messurements and setup tri-pods etc. I think its in the owners manuel, look for replacing front windshild or something to that effect

Thanks for the response. The dealer did this last week and it worked for only a few days. I think the sensors are going bad but don't just want to throw parts at it either

Ya that's the crap part with our head lights. I understand the reason they have them go up/down, but when the system brakes etc it leaves you stranded. There is a Manuel switch on each light that you can adjust. But I don't know if it will allow you to move the lights all the way up from where they are now.
