HID's and LED's

I got an 05 WK this summer and I've been wanting to put HID's in it and I want them all to match... but i don't exactly want to spend the money on getting all three lights if it could be avoided. And the fogs kind of sound like a pain in the ass to install. I was thinking I was gonna get 5000K low beams and just putting LEDs in my fog lights. I know LEDs dont have as high of an output but I don't necessarily need my fog lights, I just like having them on for show. Has anything else done this or have an opinion on it? I've been tryin to decide since July haha.

Oh and also if I do the HID lows and LED fogs, should I get HID high's? and If I end up doing HIDs in lows and fogs should I just get something like philips crystal vision for my high's or just put high beams?

Re: HID's and LED's

contact steve from xenon depot. he is a vendor here. tell him you are a member from jeep garage and he will hook you up. many many many members here including myself have his hid kits and i have yet to see a negative comment on his product.

they are amazingly simple to install and there are a lot of threads in here that will show you exactly how to do the installation. i am not very good with electrical and i seemed to get through the install pretty easily.

Re: HID's and LED's

Xenon depot is very good but kinda pricey. HIDS in the fogs are super easy as well as low beams. Ive had mine for years and look at my sig pic.

Re: HID's and LED's

I've never had them in my jeep but I did have some in my Srt-4 from DDM Tuning. They are pretty cheap and they come with a lifetime warranty. If one ballast or bulb goes out they'll replace both so they are the same color. They also have a variety of options to choose from. You may need a relay, I know I did for my Srt-4. The only downside is because so many people order from them they are slow with shipping sometimes. I think mine got to me in less than a week but I've heard of some people saying it took over 18 days.

Here is the link..

Re: HID's and LED's

Yeah I love DDM, I had HID's in my old car and I got them from there. I think they took a little over a week, but for how cheap they are and good quality it's a fair trade off.

Do you think if I got their LED lights and put them in my fogs they would look good with HID's?
