Re: how hot does your engine get>

How do you know what the temp is on a stock wk gauge? What is the reference point or interval? Whats the mid way point?

Re: how hot does your engine get>

Went to Vegas last month...it was 110-120 degress outside the whole trip, 3 people and loaded with 200 pound cooler and bags, also charged the hills and went over 75 pretty much the whole way. She never went above the half-way mark even when going below 15mph...I was amazed. I got 18.9 mpg over the 700 miles, and given the outside temp I was very pleased.

Yep.

Mines is just under 210, I'd guess 190-200?

Re: how hot does your engine get>

Today it got up to 96 degrees, beaming sun and all. My superchips was reading 204 consistantly while driving and at a red light. It climbed pretty quickly once I backed into my parking space to 214. MWoody produced 2 degree differential between ambient and intake air temp.

That's where mine is almost all the time, that position equals roughly 202-204

And someone explain to me the engine coolant, will use of the AC affect the fluid (like will it use up more coolant)

-Thanks for your patience
