I have plenty done to it, but I optioned for a low residual (balloon) percentage, and I will buy the vehicle as it is in modified form from the lease company.
I will then sell the vehicle at a profit. It is a good way of getting cash out of my business tax free

I really have no idea mate, but I'm kinda thinking of buying another hard core off-roader/tow car and a sporty car for the daily, with the thought of retaining the sporty car after the lease and building it as a tarmac rally car

Ah, I gotcha. I would like to do something like that. Keep my Jeep as a daily and get a second car and build it for road course use. Hmmm.

Re: How long you keeping your jeep

If my Jeep was worth very little at the end of it's lease period I would consider keeping it, but it will still be worth quite a bit over here..... but when it's 5 to 7 years old or getting up in milage it will take an enormous dive in value, fairly typical of american cars over here, more so than most others

Re: How long you keeping your jeep

I originally wanted to keep mine for 6-8 years... not sure if I'll end up keeping it that long though. We'll see how much I enjoy not having monthly payments haha

Re: How long you keeping your jeep

I'm thinking 1-3 years... maybe longer. My next vehicle is going to be either an E55 or a Cummins Ram.
