Re: How many miles on Bilstein's?
Nothing lasts forever; lifetime is the product warrantee, but they slowly wear out and old ones are certainly not just like new ones. Floaty front end is probably due to worn spring isolators and springs, end links, sway bar bushings, not worn Bilsteins after 36k. I replaced the isolators and it tightened up the ride noticably after 70k. I replaced all sway bar bushings and end links at about 60k which also made a bid difference.
