Re: How to increase power output on a stock 3.7 V6

They just said basically that it opened up the 3.7, which gave it a lot more power and that the power was noticed throughout the powerband. Its been over a year since ive read up on it so I cant recall exactly what they said, but everyone I talked to said its must do mod. Someone send theirs in! I will once I have enough cash saved and once my other small mods are done....

In the summer time between my classes I have a three week break, and I am planning on taking my 3.7L to get it boosted, cross my fingers that everything works out ... just need cash flow now LOL

I have been trying to save up some here and there we'll see how it turns out though ...

I really can't wait to see the results !!!

No it didn't. I am currently leading the way on 3.7 mods. The stock internals will only handle 5psi max. kenne bell did a prototype s/c and it blew on 5 psi after only 6 or so dyno runs.

No stroker kits any where... or cams. At least without getting a custom cam grind done

I forgot to mention this was back in 03 on a liberty. It had the old 42rle transmission (complete crap) and 32 inch tires so the numbers are lower then normal. Factoring in the 42's 30% driveline loss and bigger tires it put down 159 rwhp. I forget the torque figure. On the s/c with tune and bigger injectors it put down 302rwhp on 5psi. It blew on the last pull at 302. This was on its 6th pass.
