I can definately say that initially, as in the first few miles after putting it on, I could feel the increase.
But, and I've said this elsewhere before, I believe that the ECU very quickly re-learns it's normal operating parametres and resets power back to where you started.
The 5.7 WK has gearbox torque management protocols built in.
Explain in English lol

Ok.

You put it on.
It feels good at first.
Over a short time, the computer re-learns and sets your power back to standard as it's smart enough to measure it's power outputs, it's designed to limit the power through the drivetrain to protect it.

Got me? lol

Haha thank you.

It really depends on what you want to did with your truck right off the bat. Performance or looks. Like I said I think HIDs and tinted LEDs would be great and I think you may be able to fit that in your budget and I agree with Nate HIDs are the best mod to do.

I'm not saying it's pointless as such, I just don't fall into the belief that any intake is the be all and end all.... the WK really needs an aftermarket tune if it's to make the most of any modification.

Re: If You Had To Choose What Would You Get

Well I've decided my first mod is going to be the HID kits, I'm going to get the 8000K Lows, 5000K Fogs, and Nitro Blue Halogen Bulbs for Highs. I'm going to talk to Steve at XenonDepot and hopefully get a deal going.
