Re: Installing PIAAs question

get a relay for under the hood.
then run the trigger wire to the cabin for the switch.
OR
on ebay you should be able to find a complete relay harness with switch!

I have the whole kit from PIAA. The switch is in the cabin now but I need to hook the positive side of the switch into some wire n I dunno which one. It has a splicing thing on it already. So which would I tap in to??

Re: Installing PIAAs question

you lost me .... is there a relay that the switch is connected too that powers the lights?

if so that wire may be to get power to 'light up' the switch....just guessing with pics or something.

you can grab it right behind the cig lighter.

Yea it's a separate red n white positive wire connected from the relay to the switch itself. It says to hook it up to the oem fogs but I think I'd rather have em wired to something so I can turn em on w our wo the headlights on. Know what I mean??

Re: Installing PIAAs question

I don't have OEM fog lights.

Can anybody with OEM fog lights answer this.

Can you have the headlights on without having the fog lights on? I want to wire my PIAA 510 Ion's to the OEM multifunction switch.

Re: Installing PIAAs question

So you're saying that you have the option to have you stock fog light off and you headlights on?

I'm not talking about an aftermarket switch.
