Dear all,
I just recently bought a 2005 Grand Cherokee and I'm all new to Jeep and working on cars I love it, but it is all still a challenge for me.
The rear passenger interior door handle was broken and I got a replacement and was able to mount this. However, now I'm absolutely puzzled about one issue: shouldn't you be able to pull the handle twice to open the back door when the door is locked (once to unlock and once to open)? Unfortunately, I had to open the other rear side door to figure out how to put it back together, so I cannot verify this myself. I thought I remembered I was able to open the locked door like this, but it doesn't work anymore. Unlocking with the remote works, unlocking with the knob works, just not by pulling the handle. I looked inside the door and couldn't see any issue. If I should be able to unlock with the handle, where could the issue be?
Thanks
Alex
