Can anybody tell me where I can get a blue replacement bulb that goes in the information panel buttons? Are they even available? If I have to replace with led's how can I make them match everything else? Any info would help thanks in advance.
Well, they are not "serviceable". The bulbs themselves are soldered to the circuit board. There is some people that have replacedthem themselves, but most people will go through LXHarness in our vendors forum.
Try contacting him, i believe he's down at the moment and should be up and running in the near future, he does great work and has very good prices. Also in that forum there is alot of pictures of his work.
Thanks guys, I know the bulbs are soldered to the bored, Ive already changed most of them, the problem Im having is that the bulbs for the climate control are regular incandescent bulbs, but the buttons for the information panel actually have blue colored bulbs. I had one of them burn out and all I can find are regular bulbs so my "menu" button lights up white, and all the others are the blue/green factory color. All im trying to do is match the menu button and I cant find a factory replacement bulb. The soldering part is easy, finding the right color, not so easy lol.
I know I saw that its awesome, I wanted to just change the one bulb tho instead of tackling all of them, but it seems like if I want everything to match Ill have to change them all.
I originally did it myself and they lasted a few months. I am even pretty good at it, but the leds sucked. Bob really knows what he is doing and uses much better parts. These lights will outlast my jeep now.
