Interior Lights not fading in and out (fuse or module?)

Never really occurred to me until I have been leaving in the early AM dark now due to the days getting shorter and I noticed my lights pause for 2 seconds after opening the door and then just turn on full brightness. Aren't they supposed to fade in once you open the door?

Fuse or module? I imagine a fuse would cause the lights not to work.. so what could it be? I miss the fading effect!

Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

Mine just come on full brightness right away when you open the door but fade out when you close it. Perhaps a setting through your EVIC display? That's where i adjust my delay through.

oh they don't fade on? I swear they faded in back when I had my last Jeep, ohh well. Maybe it was the Xterra, haha - thanks!
