Interior trim color? part #s?

Long time reader, first time poster…

I’m trying to order some interior trim pieces for my 2008 GC Limited, but am having trouble getting correct color matches. It seems to me that what I have doesn’t match what everybody thinks I should have...

There’s three covers on the outboard side of each front seat: One over the seat belt anchor (C), one for the switch panel (B), and one for the whole side of the seat (A). I’ll need A and C on both sides. (ps... stock photo... not mine!)

And here's photos of my vehicle (edit)...

Here’s the questions:

  • How do I determine what the part numbers are once I determine what color I need? (I have access to the parts manual)
  • How do I determine what color I need?
I have trim code ULJ1 (supposedly dark khaki/light greystone), which means nothing in the manual. I have compared these part colors with other Jeeps with other trim codes: One has code PLJ1 (too light!), another code ULD1 (too dark!) How do I figure out what color (and part numbers) are just right?

Thanks for your help – trying to get the old Jeep looking good again!

Not saying this is the case for you but a number of OEM trim pieces like that have in the past come unpainted, or "in the white" from the various automakers. It would be up to a body shop to paint match it to the trim code.

If you're having difficulty matching any of the part numbers with your particular interior trim code that may be the case here.

A dealer should be able to input your VIN # and find the color codes.

Couldn't just take it to homedepot and paint match a satin pint/gallon?? I bought a radio bezel that was overland Grey....I primed/painted it khaki with a sponge in 2008....still holding up great. Just make sure you clean the hell out of it with an abrasive cleaner so the oils come out. Other way is to visit a junkyard. Hell I am think of doin my entire interior in 2008 colors. They look so much better than the 2005/2006 models.
