Swapped the faux aluminum trim with the real refined aluminum trim that came in the 2010 S Limited and the black leather instrument cluster bezel... Easily the best mod Ive done... Gives the interior such a better vibe... Also for anyone who's leather on their steering wheel is wearing out ( ridiculous mine only had 24,000 miles) B and I will refinish your OEM wheel with leather or leather and wood.... Was looking at swapping one from an overland but can't stand the little chrome rings.

I went the B and I route and their work is awesome plus I was able to choose a little darker wood finish than the overland one.... just passing it all on!!!!

Re: Interior trim swap

How much did the wheel refinish cost you? And how long was actual turnaround from sending to receiving?

Or you could do a re-dye like I did quite a few months back. Cost me $30 and looks brand new.

Re-Dye?.....

Green, help me to understand this concept! The leather on my wheel is looking a little jenky as well...
Where can I buy the dye?

I don't know where you can buy the dye but I found a guy in my area that does leather dyeing. He sanded down the wheel and resprayed it with leather dye and then sealed it. Here are the before and after shots. The flash in the night pic makes it look lighter but you can see the color matches the interior in the fourth pic Before: image-1077600370.jpg image-1592052437.jpg After: image-34420659.jpg image-1139885876.jpg

Re: Interior trim swap

I wondered what ever happened with your S limited trim project - you PMed me for part numbers but then I never heard anything else.

Looks good (and like mine )
