Re: is navigation upgrade worth it?

not worth it imo. I have navigation on the phone and i keep a portable garmin navi in the center console for long road trips. Save the $100

It's a rip off. A lot of the portable gps come with free updates and like Davy said if you have a smartphone your always updated!

Re: is navigation upgrade worth it?

Since you already paid for the in vehicle nav, I can't imagine you'd want to revert to using your cell phone just to save $100. The only consideration would be whether or not they have been building new roads where you travel.

Re: is navigation upgrade worth it?

thanks for all the inputs.

btw love the pics of y'alls jeeps! Davy-you've done a great mod!

i relocated to another state, but to my knowledge, the road map is still fairly accurate. i do have an iphone for backup.

i swore to myself i would keep this jeep till it rolled 100k, but i do get the itch to purchase the new summit with the beautiful western brown exterior...

all of the jeeps look so good. ive always had a jeep, from laredo's to commander to grand cherokees. would love to see the wagoneer actually happen!

Re: is navigation upgrade worth it?

You can download the updated version and burn it to a new disc off the internet for free. My original disc went bad about a year ago, so updated to the latest version.
I don't have the link, but do a search and you'll find it out there.
