WK05 is on a distinguished road
Is this safe???

I have a little bit of rubbing at full lock with my new 245/75/17 tires on my 05WK with the OME HD Kit. Anyways, I want to get rid of the rub, without messing with the pinch weld, so I think the 1/4" spacers will do the trick. Tell me what you think.

Are these spacers here safe?

IF so, what do I need to do to make them safe, etc.

Thanks

Re: Is this safe???

shouldn't be a problem in my eyes, but I'm not a pro. haha. although it MIGHT put some extra stress on the bearings? my buddy put 1" spacers on his S10 and hasn't had any issues in three years....

Re: Is this safe???

How much of a rub are we talking about here? I have always steered clear of spacers in favor of a different offset on the rim.

My BFG 265/65/17's (31") rubbed a little at full lock, but really how often do you operate the vehicle at full lock.

We will soon see if the BFG's will still fit with the SRT RoadMagnet drop springs and SRT Bilsteins...winter will be here soon.
